Hot as Hell

Hey all, welcome to the new blog version of the Change news, now updated weekly and with an archive… yeah…
On to some more interesting news, our first month in the new Toronto HQ has been excitingly productive to say the least. Plans are being made for this summers 3rd Change Game of Skate Tour, and “Fireworks, Dancing and Cartwheels” is finally set to be released on August 1st.

This past weekend, Mitch, Dustin and Dallas were all up filming with Quick and shooting with Toad. Mad last minute bangers!. After the super trooper weekend Dallas decided that he wants to be a Torontonian too, and so the St. Lawrence Skate House has been born.

DC Nationals: Felicitations go out to Mitch and Mike Krook for qualifying to the second tier of DC Nationals next month at The Rail. Stay tuned for a confirmed date.

Thanks to Homer and everyone at SkatersINC for the Change feature now up on their site. (http://www.skatersinc.com/reviews/change/index.html). Thanks to Lenny at Skateboard Village for the recent profile as well!

That’s all for now, check back weekly, cause the news will always be fresh.

NEW NEWS

We've just posted our new and improved news page. This will keep us connected more often, and give everyone a place to leave comments too. Hope you all enjoy.
Hey all! Lots of updates since April, where to start...

Mitch has been keeping busy, very busy, with trips to Montreal and Miami in April and May, check this site for the throw away footy from the Miami trip with Brandon, Cini, Nick, Jayson, and Steven. Thanks to Devin for the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAfS6k-wta8 . In April Mitch also picked up Mada clothing and Drop backpacks as sponsors. He also got a few tricks in “The Aureate Room” and “Streets Of Toronto”, so check that if you have a chance. April 21st at “The Rail” contest Mitch took third in the manny contest and 1st in the rail comp, taking home $200 bills. Devin has posted a good clip of the event on SkatersINC in the feature section. Lastly, but not least Mitch has a “Recognize” in the new SBC hitting newsstands now. Keep on killin it Mitch!.

Congrats also to Mike Crook for getting his Young Bloods in the latest issue of Concrete Powder, as well as taking second in the manny contest at The Rail.

In other news, Hill and Mike Mckay are now living in Vancouver as of May 1st. Word from Hill is that things have been going swell, lots of skating, meeting new friends, and reuniting with old ones. He's also been filming quite a bit with Ben Stobbard, maker of “Bigger And Better Things”. The last issue of Color also had a pic of Hill at the bank spot in MTL, so pick a copy of that up for your bedroom wall.

Here is a little clip from a few months ago, of Hill, Jesse, Sizzle, and Jamie messing around on the new bank in town… check the link, Thanks Quick… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJX6s8bRNe4

Well, that should be enough to satisfy your apps for now, June 2nd Change HQ moves to Queen and Spadina, so expect some big things coming your way… Thanks for stopping by, see you again soon.
