Chatham, check, Windsor, check, Detroit, check.....

Three fifths of the tour have been completed so far, with the fourth stop coming up this weekend in Toronto. If you're in the GTA the game and premiere will be held at Adrift Skate Shop in Kensington Market. This years event is free to enter or watch, with $750 in prizes for the winner!. Hope to see you out.

Early Monday morning Nick, Dallas, and I will be departing on a little road trip to throw a game of skate and premiere the video in Thunder Bay. We will be stopping on the way through in Sudbury and the Sault to stretch our legs and get in some skating. If your in the north keep your eyes open for a 93 escort with a dirty proge in the back. (Picture of proge below)

Here are a few highlights from the weekend stops

Chatham: Beautiful day, good turnout, Cam J half cab feeble the straight rail off the steps, Brandon and Mitch murdering the same.

Windsor: Nick Hatt representing, dumpster drop to Adult movie Warehouse door (can't get any dirtier).

Detroit: Beers, smoking indoors! and playing S.K.A.T.E on the stage of the Phoenix Amphitheatre out of the rain. Here's a pic of the stage.

For full results and pics of the events click the Game Of Skate 07 link on the right! Enjoy!

CBC 5 Spot Pics and FDC Screening

Here are a few pics from the last 5 Spot at the CBC manny pad.

Last Sunday Kyle and Chris came by to have a screening of FDC before it went to the duplicator. Unfortunately the fridge was lacking beer, which explains why we used pickles to toast the vids completion.

CARTWHEELS AND CAR FIRES

As I was walking back from the post office on Monday I saw this car fire happening. It was right in front of my place so I took pictures as the fireman pryed the hood open with crowbars to get directly at the blaze.

Georgian Skull

Last week Georgian Skull was in Toronto and played at the Reverb on Bathurst and Queen in T.O. The show was super good. Steve has come such a long way. Remember Arcain? Old Fashioned X-Mas battle of the bands?.

I am looking forward to the next T.O date!. Here's a couple pics from the night.

5 SPOT #3 RESULTS

The 3rd 5 Spot went down at the CBC manny pad the other night, and no... The Muska was not there...sorry. Overall, this stop was a good time, again the generator and lights were out and still no bust from security. Plenty of Argos fans departing from the recently finished football game even stopped to throw pom poms and wonder what the hell we were doing.

Anyway, results were as follows for the CBC Spot Comp.

Not the worst: (3rd) Dallas Ives (front shove manny), SF180 Manny BS180 Out,
2nd Best: Mark, Mel, Mike Crook.... Sorry Mike couldn't resist.
1st Place: Little Nick. (Kickflip manny Ollie to manny), BS SW Nose Manny BS Bigspin out.) Sick.

Honorable mention to Jesse Heath Tessier (frontside flip manny BS 180 out)

As soon as the footage is up for this I will make sure to get a link posted.

Until the next 5 Spot! I heard a rumor that it may be at the Monarch rail, or maybe 5 Flat? Lets hope for 5 Flat, as it is so close to home.

See you out skating.

REMEMBER THIS?

I hope you still get this pumped when you finally figure out a new trick. This kid is way to hype. Funny clip.

Jake Brown On Larry King Talk Show

I'm sure everyone has seen this slam by now, but have you seen Jake's interview on Larry King? So odd.

5 Spot # 3 Tonight @ CBC Manual Pads

The 3rd installment of the 5 Spot contest is going down tomorrow (Friday) night at the CBC manny pad. Starts at 9:30. Will Dallas make it three in a row? Jesse Tessier has been waiting to frontside flip the block, so he may have something to say about that. At least the groceries are all going in the same fridge that way.... Good luck everyone, see you there.
