MONKEY VS WOLF STORY CONTEST
This November we will be releasing the much anticipated "Monkey VS Wolf" deck and so here is a fun little contest we have devised.
Here it is:
If there was a battle between 5 wolves that like to eat monkeys and 10 monkeys with small baseball bats (that hate wolves) who would win and how? Submit your answers for a chance to get your story printed in the 'Monkey vs Wolf' zine that will be released with the board. Who ever sends us the best story will get a free 'Monkey vs Wolf' board, as well as recognition in the zine. Good luck and keep the stories small, really small (otherwise we can't print them).
Click this link to be taken to the submission page, or email your story to Monkwolf@Changeskateboards.com
The deadline for submission is October 24th.

VOLCOM BOWL BATTLE
This past Friday, Chris, Renza, Jesse T and I headed out to the "Bowl Battle" by Volcom. Blaine from Static in Thunder Bay gave us the hook up with this, as it was open to Volcom Shop Dealers only. Since Blaine was way up in Thunder Bay and the event was in Vaughn he asked us to go represent Static. Here are a few pics from the night, and yeah we were kind of surprised as well when we found out that it was a bowling contest... Though a few FREE double ryes later it didn't really matter what kind or tourney it was.. Thanks again to Blaine @ Static and everyone at Volcom for the good time!

CHANCES ARE HIGHFIVE HAS BEEN OPEN LONGER THAN YOU HAVE SKATED
12 years ago I was just starting to skate on the regular. 12 years ago Chris Spafford opened Highfive skateboard shop in Chatham. Since then he has absolutely been the driving force behind the Chatham scene. From pushing (and getting) the Chatham park to building indoor mini ramps to keep the session going all winter. Thank you Chris for 12 years of hardwork and determination, and to 12 more!
Happy birthday HighFive!

This past weekend Nick, Joe Migliore and Jamie were in town to skate and subsequently enjoy "Nuit Blanche".Friday night everyone met up at Dunbat to have a sesh and chill.
